Based on a novel by John le Carré, The Constant Gardener, directed by Brazilian-born Fernando Meirelles and starring Ralph Fiennes, tells the story of the mild-mannered British diplomat and “constant gardener,” Justin Quayle (Fiennes), and his search for information pertaining to the murder of his wife Tessa (Rachel Weisz), last seen by Dr. Arnold Bluhm (Hubert Koudé), who spent the night with Tessa and left the scene of the crime. Members of the British High Commission in Nairobi underestimate Quayle, who embarks on an Odyssey across three continents in search for information that will solve the mystery of his wife’s death.Tessa discovered something involving a pharmaceutical firm. Quayle must face colleagues, local police, hired thugs and a powerful corporation. Will he succeed? Come to Film Night and discover for yourself!
