Directed by Gus Van Sant, Good Will Hunting tells the story of Will Hunting, a janitor at MIT who also happens to be a genius in math. One day Professor Gerald Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgård) catches him solving extremely difficult problems left on the board. After getting in trouble with the law, Lambeau intervenes and offers Will the option of working with him and seeing a psychotherapist. Eventually they discover Sean Maguire (Robin Williams), an old friend of Lambeau, who has his own share of issues. In the course of their work together, each challenges the other along the path of transformation. In time, Will meets Skylar (Minnie Driver) and then… You will have to come to Film Night to see how this all works out. By the way, the film was nominated for 9 Academy Awards and won two: Williams for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Damon and Ben Affleck for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen.

Enjoy complimentary appetizers and wine during the film, as well as post-film discussion with film buff, Jim Clauss.
