March Film Night - "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" (2001)

Wednesday, March 7th │ 7:00-9:00 pm
Members: Complimentary │ Non-Members: Standard Guest Fee

Directed by the indefatigable Steven Spielberg, A.I. Artificial Intelligence takes place in the future, when coastal cities are flooded thanks to global warming. People have withdrawn to the interior of the continents while at the same time science is creating realistic robots. One such creation is David (Haley Joel Osment), who wants desperately to be a real boy and loved by his temporary mother, Monica (Frances O’Connor), whose real son is in suspended animation due to an incurable disease. This is where the Pinocchio-like journey toward humanity begins for David, who meets up with Gigolo Joe (Jude Law) and various supernerds on his path (including Haley Joel’s actual father Eugene Osment). What’s not to like! See you on film night!

Enjoy complimentary appetizers and wine during the film, as well as post-film discussion with film buff, Jim Clauss.
