With spring around the corner, many of us like to spend time working in the garden. For some, gardening can be associated with backaches and other physical deterrents, though. Having relevant stretches and strengthening in your regular exercise routine can be a big help. Learning effective gardening body mechanics skills and even some tool modifications can save you from wrist, arm, back, and other injuries too. We will cover all of these strategies.
Come join us for a workshop with Peg Maas, PT, DPT in which we discuss a variety of ways to help your body be “garden-ready” and think about ways to make gardening (or other similar activities) more body friendly. We will plant some good ideas so you will have a bloomin' good growing season!
