Pilates Class Descriptions

BEYOND THE BARRE

Beyond The Barre fuses the best of ballet, strength, yoga and Pilates. This new Barre class will lift your buns, tone your abdominals - challenging your whole body. This class will challenges and sculpts the body without the risk of overuse injuries by allowing you to work within your own range of motion. By using the barre/wall and challenging the body with center floor core moves, Beyond The Barre sculpts like no other program while only utilizing a small playground ball and light hand weights. This workout is intense, but we encourage you to join us no matter your skill or fitness level.

PILATES MAT 

This class allows a beginner to learn the basics of the 6 principles of Pilates in the ease of a small group setting.

INTERMEDIATE PILATES MAT

In this class the student will deepen their knowledge of all Pilates Mat exercises as well learn the highest level work. This class is physically demanding and invigorating. Students participating in this class must be able to perform all Intermediate level exercise with precision and clarity.

PILATES & PLUNGE

Pilates Restorative is a class specifically designed to improve balance and flexibility, as well as assist in post-rehabilitation from injury or surgery. If you have back pain, a knee injury, hip replacements, or a shoulder impingement, this is the class for you! This class is gentle and offers modifications just for you, while still continuing to strengthen the deep core muscles. In this class you will center your breath and body while aligning yourself physically and mentally.

RESTORATIVE PILATES MAT
