We live in a quick-paced world! Pressure from school, competitive sports, chores, video games, the internet and more keep us going, going, going all day. We don’t often think about kids being stressed out, but all of these things can and do effect our children. Yoga can help counter these pressures. When children learn techniques for self-health and relaxation, they can navigate life's challenges with a little more ease. Yoga encourages self-esteem and supports body awareness with a physical activity that's noncompetitive. Learning how to cooperate and be compassionate rather than in competition is one of the greatest things we can teach our children. Yoga can help to bring the inner light and joy that all kids have to the surface.
Want longer than 45 minutes to finish your workout? Don’t worry, we can escort your child to Kid’s Court after yoga while you finish BODYPUMP, cycle, run that extra mile, or just take a shower.
Led by mom, yoga instructor and overall cool lady, Kristin Haberly. A minimum of 5 sign-ups are needed to run this event. The sign-up and cancellation deadline is Monday, September 9th at noon. Accounts will be charged for late cancellations and no-shows.
