Jason believes change is good! He pushes each of his clients to continually challenge their body and their mind in various ways to reach new goals. He also suggests major or even minor changes in your training routine will keep you from reaching unwanted plateaus.

Sharrón Hasu
Group Fitness Director
For more than 30 years, fitness has been Sharrón’s way of connecting with people, building community, and helping others discover just how strong they really are—often stronger than they think, especially before the warm-up.
More about Sharrón Hasu
Her journey began with dance, choreography, cheerleading, cycling, and competitive athletics as a member of the Nike and Avia Aerobic Teams. After attending San Diego State University and interning at San Diego Sports Medicine, she built a rewarding career as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Group Fitness Director, instructor, and mentor—including 17 meaningful years at Seattle Athletic Club.
She believes great fitness programs are about much more than exercise—and definitely more than burpees. They create welcoming spaces where people feel supported, inspired, and connected. Whether encouraging someone through their very first class or celebrating a life-changing achievement, her greatest joy comes from meeting people wherever they are in their journey.
Outside of fitness, her favorite place to be is with her family. She is a wife, a mom of five, and a proud cat mom to Jake, Greywulf, and Clyde—three wonderfully different personalities who generously allow her to live in their home. Jake even became a bit of a COVID-era internet sensation, although fame has not inspired him to contribute toward the household expenses!
She is also passionate about domestic violence prevention advocacy and believes deeply in the power of compassion and community.

Helen Bates-Green
Pliates Director
hbatesgreen@sacng.com
206-522-9400 ext 269
Feel good movement is Helen’s passion. A nerd at heart, sessions with Helen might include a TED Talk on the anatomy of the hip or a spirited lecture on the state of Dungeons and Dragons.
More about Helen
Either way, she’ll make sure that you laugh, move, and feel great the whole time.
After completing her initial STOTT Pilates Certification, she dove deep into specialized courses for Postural Analysis and Functional Movement, only furthering her ability to totally geek out on biomechanics. And then in 2022 when she learned she was pregnant, she turned that same interest in functional movement into a specialization in both Pre- and Post-natal Pilates.
In addition to her Stott Pilates training and specializations, Helen has studied the Gyrotonic Expansion System and Myofascial-Release Techniques and is a certified Barre Instructor. She lives in north Seattle with her husband, daughter, and two house rabbits; she’ll probably show you pictures.
